Guidance for Prayer in Islam

The word Islam means peace, purity, etc…  Islam is a way or guidance to the humanity given by God (Allah in Arabic). We can say that it is just as manual which was given by our Creator Allah (Who creates us). Allah started to give or sent this guidance from Starting of Man Kind. The person who receives the words of Allah for teaching to the people is called as Prophet (Peace be upon Him). This Islam was started from Adam (Peace be upon Him) till Mohamed (Peace be upon Him). Previously this guidance was launched to concerned tribes or area but Islam which was launched to Mohamed (Peace be upon Him) is for whole mankind.  The guide book which was given by Allah to Mohamed (Peace be upon Him) is called Quran. The moral of Islam is “There is no God except Allah and Mohamed (Peace be upon Him) is one of his Messengers”.

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. (Surah 49:13)

மனிதர்களே! நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களை ஓர் ஆண், ஒரு பெண்ணிலிருந்தே படைத்தோம்; நீங்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு. பின்னர், உங்களைக் கிளைகளாகவும், கோத்திரங்களாகவும் ஆக்கினோம்; (ஆகவே) உங்களில் எவர் மிகவும் பயபக்தியுடையவராக இருக்கின்றாரோ, அவர்தாம் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில், நிச்சயமாக மிக்க கண்ணியமானவர். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிபவன், (யாவற்றையும் சூழந்து) தெரிந்தவன்.

And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know. (Surah 34:28)

இன்னும், (நபியே!) நாம் உம்மை மனித குலம் முழுமைக்கும் நன்மாராயங் கூறுபவராகவும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவராகவுமே யன்றி (வேறெவ்வாரும்) அனுப்பவில்லை ஆனால் மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இதை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

Now we can raise the question that why God not issued this completed book (Quran) to Adam (Peace be upon Him). The answer is God know about us very well because he is our Creator.

For example

To study for Engineering, first he has to complete Pre School then Schooling then High School and finally we are eligible for studying Engineering. Same as above, Quran issue upon our generations.

Quran is a book which will take us in right path and give guidance how to live in this world and after Day of Judgment.

Alif Lam Ra (This is) a Book which we have revealed to you, (O Muhammad). That you might bring mankind out of darkness’s into the light by permission of their Lord – to the path of the Exalted in Might, the praiseworthy (Surah 14:1).

அலிஃப், லாம், றா. (நபியே! இது) வேதமாகும்; மனிதர்களை அவர்களுடைய இறைவனின் அனுமதியைக் கொண்டு இருள்களிலிருந்து வெளியேற்றிப் பிரகாசத்தின் பால் நீர் கொண்டுவருவதற்காக இ(வ் வேதத்)தை நாமே உம்மீது இறக்கியிருக்கின்றோம்; புகழுக்குரியவனும், வல்லமை மிக்கோனுமாகிய (அல்லாஹ்வின்) பாதையில் (அவர்களை நீர் கொண்டுவருவீராக!).

The blue print of Islam is Quran and Hadith (Saying of Prophet Mohamed (Peace be upon Him). The person who follows instruction as per Quran and Hadith are called as Muslim.
